My wife and I recently (Feb/March 2020) had the good fortune to visit French Polynesia. Much to my delight (and part of the reason we went) I was able to get two reward seats in Business Class (Air Tahiti Nui calls it Poerava Business) through American Airlines (this was before the Coronavirus hit). While my wife loved that it was a relatively short flight from Southern California (7 hours 50 minutes) I would rather redeem 20,000 fewer miles (70k vs 80k) and get more bang for
